Movin' on up.....

Jerry and I are getting a new car. It's a four-door that should be a little more reasonable for carpooling to and from work and will be easier to get a car seat into in the event that something would happen that would force us to buy a car seat (a sports coupe with bucket seats ain't exactly baby or even passenger friendly). It is another Saturn (damn cult that they are), but it's rather pimped out for an economical luxury sedan- leather interior, heated seats, sunroof, power everything, 6-disc CD, AC, alarm, pretty much everything. The best part though is that it's a 2002 with just 32k miles on it and we only had to take out a loan for $9k to get it. Not bad considering how much cars go for in our area and how much of a pain in the ass it would have been to go elsewhere (like back to Ohio) to get another car with probably even more mileage on it (believe me, we looked). I'm waiting on a title and tags now, and that's it, the loan has already gone through and I already have insurance for it. We should be meeting with the sellers sometime soon, maybe even today, to get the car and a bill of sale. This is going to help out a lot, because now Jerry can actually go out and do things while I'm at work instead of being chained to the apartment.

-Update, just picked up the car from the sellers. The ride is quite smooth, and I'm digging the cushy seats.
